I believe that history doesn’t offer do-overs, but if you look closely, it always offers lessons. Every experience we go through shapes us, influencing our thoughts, emotions, and daily choices—from the moment we wake up to the moment we rest at night.
One of the greatest truths I’ve come to understand is that our testimonies have the power to help others. Someone, somewhere, is facing a challenge just like the one you’ve endured. So why keep your story to yourself? Your testimony could be the light that guides someone out of their darkest moment. But when we hide our pain, when we bury the struggles we find too difficult to face, they don’t disappear—they grow.
As a child, I was blessed with the gift of using words to uplift and encourage others. Yet, for most of my life, I kept that gift hidden—only sharing it in writing or with a few close friends. I remained invisible, even when expressing myself came naturally. But through my own journey, I’ve realized that at some point, we all have a choice: to step into the light and use our voices. Now, I choose to be visible. I believe my words, my experiences, and my work can touch lives in ways I never imagined.
How and Why I Ended Up Here…
A few years ago, I lost my husband to health complications. His passing shook me to my core, forcing me to take a hard look at my life and the children he left behind. It became clear that I had to make a choice—to live intentionally, one day at a time, taking care of my body, mind, and spirit. Not just for myself, but for my kids, too.
Witnessing firsthand how quickly one’s health can decline, sometimes leading to loss, inspired me to take action. This is my way of giving back—motivating others to cherish their health, their loved ones, and their purpose. Life is a precious gift, and if you have a reason to keep going, I encourage you to take a leap of faith and do so with strength and courage.
